Registration
Enrollment limits for DelGiudice Vocal Arts Academy (DVAA)courses
are designated in the course description. To avoid disappointment,
please register early. The DelGiudice Vocal Arts Academy reserves
the right to cancel courses due to low
enrollment.
Tuition
Based on a 33-week / school year schedule (Sept 2009 - May 2010).
1. MONTHLY: 9 Monthly payments. Monthly payments are due on
the first of every month. Late payments received after the 7th
of the month will incur a $25.00 late fee. Failure to pay by
the end of the month may result in your child's removal from
class and/or lessons.
2. Payments may be made by cash, check, or money order. Checks
and money orders
should be payable to Andrea DelGiudice. There is a $25.00 charge
for each check returned due to insufficient funds.
3. Registration Fee
There is a $25.00 registration fee due per student per year.
This fee is refundable only if your course is cancelled. This
fee is waived if enrolled at early open house.
4. Materials Fee
There is a materials fee for all classes. Fees are stated in
the course descriptions and paid once per year for each course.
These fees are refundable only if the course is cancelled. Materials
Fees may include costume purchase or rental, CD's, Scripts,
Music, Royalty Fees and will vary class to class.
5. Filled Courses
If your course is filled, you will be placed on a wait list and
be notified if a space becomes available.
6. No Smoking Policy
For the health and comfort of our students, smoking is not permitted.
7. Low Enrollment Cancellation Policy
DelGiudice Vocal Arts Academy reserves the right to cancel courses
due to low enrollment. If your course is cancelled, we will
notify you prior to the first day of class. You will either
be given a full refund or the option to apply payments to another
course if there are openings.
8. Refunds
Absolutely no refunds or credits will be given after courses
have started. Full refunds of tuition payments are issued only
if a course is cancelled or an given course schedule change
renders you unable to attend. Refunds will be given ONLY if
a request to withdraw is made in writing two weeks prior to
the start of a course.
9. Make-ups & Weather Cancellations
Classes will be made up if cancelled by instructor's request
or by unforeseen weather. It is a student's responsibility
to call the studio for weather-related cancellations. DelGiudice
Vocal
Arts staff and instructors will not make phone calls to inform
students of weather-related
closings. Private Makeup lessons are not offered in the event
of student cancellation. Students are placed on a courtesy cancellation
list and contacted when times become available.
10. Release of Liability
Participation in DelGiudice Vocal Arts Academy (DVAA) programs
is at your own risk. Participants agree to waive and release
any and all claims against the (DVAA)its agents, faculty, and/or
employees relating to personal injury or property damage arising
from participation in any DVAA program. DVAA cannot be held
responsible for personal injury occurring in the facility.
11. Release of Image
By registering for DVAA programs and/or otherwise participating
in DVAA events, participants and/or their parents or legal
guardians give full permission for students to be photographed,
video taped, or voice-recorded during DVAA classes, performances,
and/or other
activities. Participants and/or their parents or legal guardians
also consent to the use of their names, video images, photographs
and/or voice recordings in any and all DVAA publicity materials
as deemed appropriate by DelGiudice Vocal Arts Academy.
12. Policy of Nondiscrimination
The DelGiudice Vocal Arts Academy welcomes students of any race,
color, sexual orientation, gender expression, age, religion,
disability, and national or ethnic origin. DVAA does not discriminate
in the administration of and admission to its programs.
